We are pleased to invite you to take part in a seminar titled “Trade Unions and Their Influence on Employment Relationships”. The seminar will take place at PwC Russia’s Moscow office on 28 February 2017 from 9:30 to 17:30. Registration begins at 9:00.

Under current legislation, trade unions enjoy a rather wide range of rights, enabling them to exert influence on employment relationships. For any company that deals with a trade union in its operations, it’s important to be aware of the scope of rights that the trade union has and to know in which specific cases an employer can reject its demands.

Given that trade unions are playing an increasingly active role both within companies and as part of the social partnership, it is more and more critical to know subtle details of the legislation on trade unions’ activities.

We will discuss both the theoretical and practical aspects of trade unions’ activities and see how they could influence your company’s operations as well as tactics for countering this.

As part of our seminar, we will focus on the following issue: how trade unions can exert influence on your organisation in the context of professional standards that have been quite recently introduced in corporate practice.

The seminar will be organised jointly with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA Russia) – EICPA®. EICPA® refers to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Independent Non-Profit Organisation of Continuing Professional Education.

Attendees from other regions will be able to participate via video conference. We will charge an attendance fee for the seminar. The fee is RUB 22,000 (net of VAT). For participants via video conference, the fee is RUB 19,000 (net of VAT). If you choose to participate via video conference, please inform us of this.

We look forward to seeing you at the seminar.
