Deloitte opens its seventh office in Russia

19 July 2018, Moscow, Deloitte CIS has opened an office in Vladivostok, its seventh in Russia. Deloitte CIS has been presented on the Russian market for more than 25 years, operating via offices in Moscow, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Ufa and Yekaterinburg and employing more than 2,000 people.
Vladivostok is one of the most developed and dynamic cities in the Far East. Home to several Territories of Advanced Social and Economic Growth (TASEGs) and the Free Port of Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai region aims to attract businesses and investors through incentives as well as provide access to high quality human capital due to the large number of institutions offering top class education.

The new office will be headed by Sergey Lavsky. Before joining Deloitte, Sergey worked as a Managing Director with an international audit firm and, before that, as a Deputy General Director for the Far East’s largest investment project in the entertainment, hospitality and tourism industry. He has a total of 23 years of audit, finance and investment experience. Sergey holds a degree from the Far Eastern Federal University and is an honorary member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

“Developing the Far Eastern region is a particular focus for the Russian government, while the number of prospective clients from Korea, China and Japan is on the rise. We believe that in addition to bringing us closer to our clients, opening a new office in Vladivostok will contribute to the region’s social and economic development due to our active involvement in initiatives and projects”, said Sergey Lavsky.
