It was Marriott Moscow Tverskaya hotel where M. Kakunina started her hospitality career in 2002 in front office, and then in housekeeping department and in 5 years was promoted to the Housekeeping Manager. In 2007 she was part of pre-opening team in Interstate operating Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya as Executive Housekeeper, and in 2 years was appointed Rooms Division Director in charge of overseeing front office, housekeeping and fitness center. Marina took part in many start-ups of Interstate operating hotels, such as Marriott Krasnaya Polyana and Gorki hotels in Sochi, Renaissance Minsk (Belarus), Marriott Ashbourne (Ireland), 4 Points by Sheraton (Kecskemet, Hungary). In 2013 Marina joined the team of Renaissance Monarch Moscow Center as Rooms Division Director, and in 2014 was appointed Director of Operations of this 366-rooms hotel.
