Moscow | British Music Festival, Saturday 2 September 2017
The second charity music festival supported by the RBCC is taking place at the British Ambassador’s Residence garden in Moscow on Saturday 2 September.
It is to fund two major children's charities, The Lighthouse Home which is Russia’s only hospice solely for terminally ill young people, and the Centre for Curative Pedagogics—a shelter for children with various needs abandoned by families. Neither receive state funding.
17:00–17:30: Performance by the Centre for Curative Pedagogics “Moonberry Jam” jazz band
17:59: Welcome by Her Majesty's Ambassador Dr Laurie Bristow
18:00–18:45: Folkline with Olga Lisikova (folk/blues)
18:45–19:15: Julian Burdock (blues/soul)
19:15–19:45: Electric Soul (soul/gospel/classic rock)
20:00–21:00: Emergency Band (classic rock)
21:15–22:30: Sergei Voronov and The Crossroadz (blues/classic rock)
00:00–01:00: After party at Imagine Cafe (16/16, 1, ul. Pokrovka)
Registration fee is 2500 ₽ per adult, 1000 ₽ for participants under 16. Please contact Evgeny Kozhin to register.
Please keep in mind that it is an outdoors event so you are welcome to bring your plaids, spare clothes and anything else that would let you enjoy the Festival in comfort.
Registration is due on the 28th of August.
