Patron, Russo-British Chamber of Commerce

HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO is related through his grandmother to Tsar Nicholas II. He has always had a strong attachment to Russia, which he first visited in 1992, following the collapse of communism. Now Patron of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, Prince Michael has returned to the country many times since then on business.

The RBCC's Board of Directors is fundamental to the strategy and governance of the Chamber, meeting regularly to discuss future activities, projects and events. Representing a wide range of industry sectors, and with many years' experience working in both Russia and the West, the RBCC Board are regular attendees of Chamber events, and provide an invaluable resource to the RBCC and its members.

RBCC advisory council

The RBCC’s Advisory Council advises and assists the Board in relation to the strategy, policies and objectives of the Chamber and acts as a forum for discussing matters of wider interest to its members. It is comprised of both business people and eminent individuals from other walks of life involved in developing the Russo-British relationship. It reflects the Russian and British interests of the Chamber and its current President is the Right Honourable Charles Hendry.
